THE organisers of the annual Skegness Victorian Market have hailed this year’s two-day event a resounding success.
Twenty stallholders were present on both days, and the market, outside the Hildreds Centre, drew in large crowds.
The Skegness Carnival committee holds the event every year to raise money for its activities.
And chairman Julie Chapman is delighted with the public’s latest response.
She said: “We thought it went absolutely brilliantly. It was packed with people.
“Those who spoke to me said it was brilliant and asked if we could do it every weekend towards Christmas.
“Unfortunately that’s not possible, but it’s a sign of the popularity.
“A lot of stallholders have also already asked us to put their names down again for next year,” she added.
