TalkTalk in sponsorship boost for Spilsby Pavilion project

SPILSBY Pavilion and Recreation Ground has received a financial boost from a major UK telecommunications company.

TalkTalk, the home phone, broadband and mobile provider has announced it is to sponsor the centre for the next 12 months.

The donation is a welcome boost to the fundraising necessary to create baby changing facilities for men to use as well as a new cooker and kitchen equipment.

Allan Bugg, Vice Chairman for Spilsby Pavilion & Recreation Ground said: “At the Spilsby Pavilion and Recreation Ground we aim to provide a range of services and facilities to the local 
community as well as a venue that is used by many different community groups, offering something for everyone.

“The financial support from TalkTalk is wonderful; it ensures we can welcome even more people to the centre.”

Tristia Clarke, Commercial Director at TalkTalk, added: “Investing in the local area allows us to bring our great value offers to even more families in the area.

“We are proud to be supporting the fantastic work being done at Spilsby Pavilion & Recreation Ground.

“They are at the heart of the community and we wish them every success with their endeavours over the coming months.”

Alongside this sponsorship, TalkTalk has announced that it is investing £50,000 on expanding its next generation network in Spilsby and East Keal.

Spilsby Pavilion and Playing Fields was established in 1989.

The Pavilion is managed by the Spilsby Recreation Ground Committee.

The centre is utilised by the local residents for adult dance and keep fit classes, numerous children’s dance classes, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and other local classes.
