A LANDMARK hotel on the Skegness seafront has been sold off a freehold asking price of £425,000.
The Grosvenor House Hotel on North Parade has been sold to a southern-based hotel operator.
The 29 en suite bedroom hotel had been owned by the same family for over 75 years.
The Nottingham office of Christie & Co handled the sale of the property.
Chirstie’s Sheree Watson said: “The Grosvenor House Hotel is a well-known landmark on the Skegness seafront and it generated a lot of interest during its time on the market. We received various offers and the successful purchaser plans to invest heavily in the hotel, bar and restaurant, ready for next season.”
As well as the 29 en suite bedrooms the hotel also has a further three unused bedrooms, a large function room and a ballroom, which can be used for weddings, conference and banquets.
