Record breaking numbers of apprenticeship vacancies and applications have been recorded in Lincolnshire, according to statistics published last week.
The National Apprenticeship Service has reported that 3,450 apprenticeship applications were submitted online in the county between February and April alone.
More than 370 vacancies were also advertised online - as part of a record breaking 17,700 available nationally over the same period.
Matthew Hancock MP said: “With more vacancies that ever before, apprenticeships are fast becoming the norm for young people who want to achieve their career goals through an alternative route to university.”
