Farming community gears up for traditional festive stock show

THE farming community is preapring for the prestigious 82nd Annual Christmas Stock Show at Louth Livestock Market on Thursday, December 1.

The festive show is a chance for all those in the farming community to get together to show off the finest livestock in the county at this traditional event.

The event is made up of eight cattle categories and five sheep categories, with over £1000 worth of prize money available.

The day also provides the opportunity to raise money for charity through a number of activities. These include a Grand Raffle and auction of donated items.

All funds raised will be split between the show’s two nominated charities - the Lincolnshire Rural Support Network and Macmillan Cancer Relief.
