A new fast food outlet which has created 40 jobs, opened its doors in Skegness for the first time last week.
The new Burger King in the Hildreds Centre opened its doors on Thursday ahead of an official opening ceremony on Friday.
Skegness Mayor Jim Carpenter was among the dignitaries to turn out for the special event.
Since then, thousands of locals and tourists have flocked through the doors to sample the iconic Burger King menu.
And Burger King are delighted with the response in the town.
“We’d like to thank the mayor for coming down - the opening went really well,” said a spokesperson.
“We’ve got a new team here and they’ve been doing really, really well.
“The speed of service is good and we really appreciate the support we’ve received within the community. We’ve been overwhelmed by the level of support,” they added.
The new restaurant is located at Unit 5, Hildreds Centre, Skegness (inside the former Frankie & Benny’s restaurant site).
It is open from 10am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and from 10am to 8pm on Sunday.
