Volunteers are being sought by the Marine Conservation Society to help ensure local beaches remain clean and safe for all.
Skegness beach will be receiving a thorough clean this Sunday (September 22) as part of Beachwatch, the Marine Conservation Society’s beach clean and litter survey, which aims to highlight the issues of beach litter around the UK’s coastline.
Local Beachwatch organiser, coastal ranger Dave Miller, says he would like to see more volunteers than ever before lend a hand to make this latest clean of Skegness beach the biggest yet.
The event takes place on Sunday, starting at 10am, and it promises to be a fun and informative social occasion.
Those wishing to take part can contact Dave Miller on 01754 898057.
