Big Bike Ride in aid of end of life care

An end of life hospice is calling on charitable cyclists to take part in an upcoming bike ride raising funds for the facility.

The Butterfly Hospice’s Big Bike Ride will see dozens of cyclists depart from Lincoln on Sunday, April 28, travelling the 33 miles back to Boston, where the hospice has been built after more than a decade of community support.

The event has been supported by local organisations including Boston Town Football Club and Lincolnshire Police.

Halfords in Boston has also offered to provide cyclists registered for the event with a free assessment of their bike prior to the ride to ensure their safety on the roads.

Transport to Lincoln will also be provided if required. For more details contact Davina Hellon on 01205 311222.
