Approval given to expand business

A plan by Susan Bunn to expand her tourism business in Croft has been welcomed by East Lindsey councillors.

Following their decision to grant planning permission, she will be able to build on her two existing holiday cottages by siting six holiday lodges and excavating a commercial fishing lake on land adjacent to Croft House, off Burgh Lane.

In her presentation to Thursday’s planning committee, Ms Bunn said her cottages currently enjoyed 92 and 87 per cent occupation rates, and she was having to turn down bookings, especially in high season

Said she: “If this application is approved it will support businesses in nearby Burgh le Marsh and thus contribute to the local economy.”
