Fire fighters were called out to deal with a blazing chimney at a property in Spanning Drive, Alford yesterday (Wednesday).
A crew from the town tackled the fire, which broke out at 1.19pm, using a hose reel jet and specialist chimney gear. The fire was caused by a build up of soot.
