A new look for your Standard!

YOUR Standard is set to boast a whole new look and new features when it relaunches in two weeks time!

The Skegness Standard and the Spilsby Standard will be among a whole host of Johnston Press titles to gain a new look.

As well as a state-of-the-art design from international design house Cases - the team behind the Independent and the Daily Mirror’s newer looks - the Standard will also boast new features.

These will include a new ‘Seal Watch’ feature, where readers can keep up to date about day-to-day life at the Natureland Seal Sanctuary in Skegness and find out how their rescued residents are doing.

The paper will also boast a slightly larger sports section, a more dynamic presentation for our news stories, an easy to read contents page, plus much, much more!

Of course, all your old favourites will remain. We’ll continue to publish our weekly Village News page, plus regulars such as family news, readers’ letters, Big Night Out photos and more.

A spokesperson for East Midlands Newspapers, which publishes the Standard, said: “We really hope you enjoy our new look, which has come about after a great deal of investment.

“We’re excited about our plans for the titles and believe the added features will spark a chord with our readers.

“As well as the new features we have at launch we also hope to bring you an even greater selection of regular features in the weeks following the first new-look edition.

“So keep your eyes peeled for even more exciting additions in the near future,” they added.
