Students working at Boston's College's Lime restaurant have been praised by a customer '“ on his 100th birthday.'¨Bill Proctor (pictured, centre) enjoyed a birthday meal with family at the restaurant, based at the Rochford campus. '¨He said: 'I had a brilliant time, the food was absolutely amazing.
“It made my day when the students came out carrying a cake.” Catering and hospitality manager Adrian Walker-Slade added: “It was exciting for our catering students to take a booking for a 100th birthday, and then to serve Bill on his special day. The bakery made and decorated a celebration cake, the first 100th cake to be made, and Bill was thrilled.”
The Lime restaurant was chosen as the location for Bill’s 100th, as a member of his birthday party had visited Lime before, enjoyed the food and thought it would be a great location to celebrate his big birthday.
