Ten years since ... Primary schools hits the 100 mark in shoe box appeal

Children at Great Steeping Primary School filled 100 shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child 10 years ago.

The generous kids raked through their cupboards for old toys and gifts to send to Eastern Europe for children less fortunate than themselves.

Skegness Round Table donated £150 towards postage and the remaining £100 was provided by staff and parents.

Teachers Belinda Clowsley and Di Hodson organised the scheme.
