INTERNATIONAL music star John Parr is set to perform at the Embassy Theatre later this week.
The artist behind the legendary 80s anthem ‘St Elmo’s Fire’, he will be appearing as part of the spectacular rock musical “American Anthems” on Friday, February 3.
“The hugely talented cast of American Anthems, a hit musical which takes audiences from the east to the west coast of the USA on a journey to find a hit rock star who disappeared at the peak of his career, for one last concert, is soon to be joined by international superstar, John Parr,” said a spokesperson.
“He is best known for his number one hits “St Elmo’s Fire” and “Naughty Naughty”.
“His extremely successful career, which spans four decades, has seen him work with some of the biggest names in music from Meatloaf to Tina Turner.
“A ridiculously talented cast of singers, dancers, fully live band and some of the greatest rock anthems to come out of America including “Born To Run”, “Livin’ on a Prayer”, “We Built This City”, “Bat Out Of Hell”, “Proud Mary”, “Born To Be Wild”, “St Elmo’s Fire”, “Walking in Memphis”, “Sweet Child of Mine,” and many more, makes this celebration of all things American something not to missed,” they added.
The show will begin at 7.30pm on Friday, February 3. Tickets cost £21 for adults, £20 for over 60s and £10 for children.
