A NEW interactive art trail has been installed at the Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve.

‘Hide & Seek’ is the latest range of images by well-known photographer John Byford to have been selected for the eight bird-watching hides.

The pieces are a mixture of bold, humorous and poignant images selected to complement and challenge the viewer and their surroundings with titles including Mad Dogs and Waiting For God.

“As an active supporter of the nature reserve I wanted to encourage people to discover the hide trail and expose themselves to the raw natural beauty that is Gibraltar Point,” said John.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to create this project in a place that I hold very dear and hope that the viewers will enjoy the juxtaposition of Art and Nature together,” he added.

A Hide & Seek trail map is available from the Gibraltar Point Visitor Centre and The Embassy Gallery detailing locations of the Hides and images.

But hurry if you want to catch them. The pieces are only on display until Sunday, July 8.
