New dance classes launched in area

NEW dance classes have been launched in Spilsby and Stickney.

Lincolnshire Dance’s Dance4Life programme was launched with some taster sessions last week.

There included street dance, salsa, line dance, contemporary and musical theatre.

The new dances include ‘Dance Introductions’ which covers a range of dance styles on Mondays from 10 to 11am in the Franklin Hall, Spilsby. It will also run on Thursdays from 6.30pm to 8pm in New Bolingbroke Village Hall.

Elsewhere a ‘Learn to Salsa’ class will be held on Mondays from 7pm to 8.30pm in New Leake Primary School before moving to Stickney Village Hall after Easter.

The King Edward VI Humanities College in Spilsby will host ‘Modern & Street Dance’ on Wednesdays from 7pm to 8.30pm, with Cracroft Hall in West Keal holding a ‘Musical & Contemporary’ class on Thursdays from 2pm to 3.30pm.

All classes are £3.50 and include tea, coffee and biscuits during optional social time at the end of class.
