A local wildlife reserve’s busy April calendar will continue with everything from toddler groups to spring food and craft fairs in the coming fortnight.
The Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust reserve at Gibraltar Point, south of Skegness, announced a whole host of activities for the spring.
These continue this week, with a Tadpole Toddler Group from 10am to 11.30am tomorrow (Thursday).
The toddler group features “fun wildlife activities for under fives, such as crafts, story-telling and nature walks.”
They cost £2 per child and booking is essential on 01754 898057.
Later on Thursday, the centre’s ‘Kids Gang’ sessions continue with ‘ Funky Flowers’ from 2pm to 4pm.
“Discover the magical and medicinal properties of our plants and trees in our new woodland area,” said a spokesperson.

Meanwhile, the reserve’s Easter trail continues today, Thursday and Friday.
“Pop into our Visitor Centre anytime over Easter and pick up one of our self-guided trails, “added the spokesperson. “Follow the trail and get the secret code to collect your Easter Egg.”
Participation is £1 per child.
Grown-ups also have events to look forward to - with a Spring Food and Craft Fair set to take place over the weekend on Saturday and Sunday, April 20 and 21. The fair will run from 10am to 4pm each day. Entry is free.
