Mr Fips Wonder Circus will run in Skegness from Friday, July 27 until Sunday, August 19.

INCREDIBLE acrobats, calamitous clowns and the amazing Spiderman will be bringing their spectacular circus routines to Skegness this week.

Mr Fips Wonder Circus has teamed up with the Standard to offer our readers a cut price entry deal for any of the daily performances, which begin this Friday at the Burgh Road car boot site.

A family of four with one of our exclusive vouchers can see Mr Fips and his talented colleagues for the special price of just £18 - that’s an incredible saving of £42 off the regular family ticket price.

The vouchers are printed inside this week’s Standard (July 25th edition).

Mr Fips, otherwise known as Jan Erik Brenner, has been performing around the world for the past 32 years, since he was just 10 years old.

He said: “I’ve performed on stage with Robbie Williams and for the Pope and travelled all over the world, but it’s always been my dream to present a circus in the way I think it should be done.

“This is not just a job for us, it’s a way of life and we want people to come and experience the joy of the circus to share our fun.

“There are contortionists, jugglers, acrobats and our beautiful Andalusian stallions performing dressage.

“The amazing Spiderman is just back from his film premiere and he’ll be swinging around the Big Top, which is always a firm favourite with all the children.”

Jan will also be performing with his father who has notched up an incredible 65 years of experience, ‘clowning around’ in the industry.

“I’m still lucky enough to be performing with my father and recently we took our slapstick routine to Children’s BBC complete with gunge, custard pies and buckets of water - it’s comedy that never gets old,” Jan added.

Mr Fips Wonder Circus begins this Friday, July 27, with shows daily at 7pm except for Thursdays, through until Sunday, August 19.

Additional afternoon performances will be shown every Wednesday and Sunday at 3pm apart from the final Sunday when there will be just one 2pm showing.
