Bursaries in heritage craftsmanship skills are being offered by Lincolnshire County Council and Lincoln Cathedral.

Thanks to a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund, the successful candidates will undergo an 18-month full-time training placement at Lincoln Cathedral and 

The course will help them develop a range of specialist skills in brickwork, glazing, stonemasonry, joinery and lead work.

Lincolnshire County Council tourism and visitor economy officer Amanda Davey said: “It’s vitally important we pass on this knowledge to help protect our historic buildings for future generations.
