Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve south of Skegness is set to team up with the BBC’s latest Stargazing Live TV special on Thursday (January 10).
The centre will welcome local astronomer Paul Money for one of his periodic visits to the reserve.
And the latest sessions link-up with Stargazing Live will give participants the chance to get up close with the Solar System’s largest planet - Jupiter.
“Join in with this nationwide event looking at the wonders of the night sky,” said a spokesperson.
“ Gibraltar Point is the ideal place for star gazing with its open landscapes and dark un-spoilt skies.
“ Join local award-winning astronomer Paul Money as he takes us on a ramble through the winter stars as we seek out the giant planet Jupiter,” they added.
The event wll run from 7pm to 9.30pm.
Participants must book in advances as these events fill u fast.
The session costs £3.50 for adults and £2 for children.
