Horses’ Halloween

NORTHCOTE Heavy Horse Centre is set to put on a spooky spectacular next week.

On Sunday, October 30 the centre will be hosting its Halloween evening, which will see Count Dracula arriving in his coffin by horse and cart.

A torchlit scavenger hunt and a show in the shed including horses, goats, dogs and fire acts will also be among the attractions.

The event will run from 5pm to around 8pm. and visitors can have a go at apple bobbing, watch a puppet show and take part in the fancy dress and pumpkin competition (Visitors should bring their own torches for the scavenger hunt).

Money raised on the night will go towards the charity’s continuous care of the horses currently at the centre. Admission on the night will be £4 Adults and £3 child.
