Since the launch of the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) and Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS), the Government has supported the wages of 103,100 jobs in Lincolnshire.

Businesses furloughed 78,200 jobs across the county - including 15,100 jobs in the district of East Lindsey - between the CJRS launch date on April 20, and the end of May.

Meanwhile, the SEISS was rolled out in May and has financially supported 24,900 self-employed individuals in Lincolnshire who have been adversely affected by the Covid-19 outbreak, and paid grants worth a total £71.9 million up to the end of May.

In East Lindsey, 5,000 claims were made through the SEISS scheme, with total claims valued at £13.2 million.
