Four of the comedy world’s most famous faces have joined forces and will be belting out a vertiable bevvy of comic songs when they play the Embassy Theatre next week.
Young Ones and Bottom star Ade Edmondson, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and QI regular Phill Jupitus, Monty Python musical alumni Neil Innes and Raw Sex and Jools Holland Rythmn and Blues Orchestra star Rowland Rivron have teamed-up to form The Idiot B*stard Band!
And you can enjoy their show on Thursday, November 8 at a reduced price using our fab offer.
If you buy a pair of tickets before November 5 you’ll get £5 off the combined price.
“The Idiot B*stard Band are a band dedicated to the comic song,” said a spokesperson.
“They play songs by The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band, Jake Thackeray, Syd Barret, George Formby, They Might Be Giants, Ian Dury, Mel Brooks, The Mighty Sparrow and many of their very own brand spanking new compositions.
“During the winter of 2010/11 they held a raucous eight-week residency at The Wilmington Arms in Clerkenwell.
“Famously advertised as ‘Live Rehearsals’ the shows were a heady mixture of excitement and catastrophe, at once fabulously warm, surprising and hilarious.
“They have done something similar this year at Monto Water Rats, where they found that actually, they weren’t half bad - so they’ve booked a few more shows and thought they might even bang a few festival performances out this year,” they added.
The show will take to the Embassy Theatre in Skegness on Thursday, November 8 from 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £24 and the concert is rated PG.
