Two young entrepreneurs from Skegness have secured a big name TV star to appear at the latest of their fast-growing youth events

Ryan Speed and Connor Wilkes have booked Geordie Shore’s Gaz to star as the VIP guest at their next Energy Event held at Grand Central on Friday, November 9.

The 16-year-old Skegness students hope their events will provide the town’s youth with an entertaining and exciting night out in a safe and responsible environment.

Ryan said: “There’s not a lot for young people to do in Skegness and we used to just wander the street doing nothing - it was so boring. These events give people the opportunity to experience night life in a proper nightclub before they turn 18.”

The event is open to teenagers aged 13 to 17 and will feature all of the highlights of an adult club night without the alcohol.

DJs playing a diverse collection of club friendly hits will be keeping the dance floor moving while the bar serves non-alcoholic cocktails and fire breathers add a splash of excitement.

Star of the show Gaz will be appearing in the VIP area signing photos and memorabilia, posing for pictures and meeting his fans.

Connor said: “Most teenagers watch Geordie Shore so we felt it would be great if they got the chance to meet Gaz.”

Ryan and Connor originally worked alongside Joseph Simpson, whose Halloween event featured in last week’s Standard, however the trio have since parted ways. Tickets are available from Grand Central costing £17 for VIP, £10 for standard.
