Photo A: In May 1991 pupils from the Richmond School gathered for a group photo before taking part in the annual Skegness Six two-mile fun run organised by Maurice White from Skegness Coasters. In the main race that year’s winner was Richard Ironmonger from Notts AC in 28.05mins (a new record).

Photo B: The Duke of Edinburgh silver medal was awarded to Skegness Grammar’s Rebecca Weston in May 1991 by headmaster John Webster (left) with deputy head Andrew Rigby who later became headmaster.

Photo C: Eight Skegness District Rotaract members cycled from Skegness to Blackpool in April 1994 to raise money for the Rotaboat RNLI appeal. The cyclists taking part from Skegness were Suzanne Brooks, David Foden, Richard Simons, Nigel Glanville, Norman Pitcher from the Rotary Club, Gordon Holland, Charles Skeavington and Phil Pearson in the Mr Blobby outfit.

Photo D: On April 27, 1991, The ‘charter of friendship’ was awarded by Skegness Town Council to the HMS Royal Arthur Association after a procession through the town led by the Royal Marines Band (Cincfleet) pictured here in Lumley Road.
