Four weeks to fix a broken bolt

CHILDREN’S play equipment in a Skegness park was taken out of action for four weeks, due to a broken bolt.

Skegness Town Council, which operates the Sunshine Play Area, has accused its equipment supplier of ‘very poor customer service’ and a ‘very poor response’ after a zip line was left unusable for four weeks due to its failure to replace a broken bolt.

Town clerk Steve Larner told councillors at a business and resources meeting on Wednesday that the ‘current supplier has really failed to supply us’.
