Film Club to screen South Korean movie

SOUTH Korean film ‘Poetry’ will be the latest international movie to screen at Louth Film Club on Monday (March 5).

“An ageing woman, facing family criminality and her own dementia, takes solace in becoming a poet,” said a spokesperson.

“This is a gentle yet intelligent and near flawlessly constructed film, itself both poetic and contemplative in its observation of the flow of daily life as the woman finds the inner strength to write her first lines.”

The film will screen at the Playhouse Cinema in Louth at 7.30pm on Monday. The film is certificate 12A.

Screenings are also open to non-members of the club. Tickets cost £3.50 for members, or £5.90 (£4.70 concessions) for non-members.
