LOUTH Film Club is set to screen a movie by much vaunted Japanese animation house Studio Ghibli later this month.
Arrietty will screen at the Playhouse Cinema in Louth on Monday, June 25 at 7.30pm.
“This is an enchanting and brilliantly colourful animation from the prolific Studio Ghibli, who gave us Spirited Away and Ponyo,” said a spokesperson.
“Arrietty is inspired by Mary Norton’s popular children’s story The Borrowers, about a family of miniature people who live under the floorboards of a house occupied by ‘human beans’,” they added.
Proceeds from the screening will be donated to Home Start East Lindsey.
