National comic treasure Al Murray is set to return to Skegness with his brand new show this week.
Last year’s greatest hits tour was phenomenally successful and sold out when it stopped off in Skegness.
And ticket sales for his latest Embassy Theatre show, ‘The Only Way is Epic’, have been making similarly brisk business this time around - with hundreds of tickets already reported to have been snapped up.
“Britain’s most irrepressible Innkeeper will be serving up his premier brew of ale-inspired acumen and bar-room buffoonery at a theatre near you this autumn, as part of his Only Way is Epic tour,” said a spokesperson.
“This monumental new live stand-up show from the multi-award-winning comedian, directly follows the nationwide success of the Guv’s twice extended Barrel of Fun tour, and is sure to sell-out fast.
“Get your orders in now,” they added.
Al Murray is known to millions of people around the UK thanks to his Pub Landlord persona, which has garnered awards, sold-out tours and even earned Al a number of TV series over the years.
Reviewers have been gushing in their praise, with many gobsmacked by his now legendary audience interaction, and the skill with which he weaves them into his show.
The Daily Telegraph has called him a “national treasure”, while the Sun has said ‘his interaction with the front few rows is legendary’.
The show will be held at the Embassy Theatre on Friday, November 16 at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £27.50 per person. Parental discretion is recommended for under 18s.
