‘A Night of Dirty Dancing’ for Skeg

A new stage show in Skegness is set to celebrate one of the ‘greatest movie soundtracks of all time’ this weekend.

‘A Night Of Dirty Dancing’ will stop off at the Embassy Theatre for one night this Saturday, May 25 at 7.30pm.

“A Night of Dirty Dancing’ is the ultimate tribute show celebrating the greatest movie soundtrack of all time,” said a spokesperson.

“Come and experience the brand-new spectacular featuring all the hits from everyone’s favourite dance movie, Dirty Dancing, in the ultimate tribute show.

“It’s the sexiest song and dance sensation of 2013, presented by an all-star cast.

“Celebrated film Dirty Dancing boasted the greatest movie soundtrack of all time.

“All the hits are superbly performed in this fast-moving, slickly-choreographed theatrical treat including: She’s Like the Wind, Big Girls Don’t Cry, Hey Baby, Wipeout, Do You Love Me, Be My Baby, Hungry Eyes and, of course, the Oscar-winning (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life.

“Take a trip back to the summer of ’63, relive Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey’s sizzling performance in the ultimate coming of age romance.

“The whole world loves Dirty Dancing: the 80s box office smash, the first movie to sell one million videos, a number one single and album sales of 42 million worldwide, Dirty Dancing is truly iconic entertainment,” the spokesperson added.
