TEN YEARS AGO: Skegness school raises hundreds for Haiti earthquake appeal

The fundraiser brought in £700 for an appeal organised by Rotary International in aid of the people of Haiti.

The nation was hit by a major earthquake on January 10 of that year. About 250,000 people died in the disaster, with 300,000 more injured.
