TEN YEARS AGO: Skegness holds first-ever breach motocross
This was the scene in Skegness 10 years ago as the resort held its first-ever beach motocross.
More than 200 off-road motorcycles took part in the two-day extravaganza.
The aim was to not only showcase motorcycle sport, but also to offer fun and enjoyment for all the family.
It was thought about 14,000 people attended the free event, and organisers hoped to make it an annual fixture in the town.
