The Standard has been in touch with Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust. Because of 'the nature of the enquiry' we were asked to direct questions to the Department of Health and Social Care who said they were unable to comment on individual cases.

However, the Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust. has just posted on their website that services at the hospital are now running as normal. The statement on the Skegness Urgent Care Treatment Centre website reads: "Daily updates on the national coronavirus situation are available at: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/wuhan-novel-coronavirus-information-for-the-public"All of our services at Skegness Hospital including the Urgnet Treatment Centre are operating as usual."

The government website states: "Three patients in England have tested positive for coronavirus. Chief Medical Officer for England Professor Chris Whitty, has shared a statement. If more cases are confirmed in the UK, it will be announced as soon as possible by the Chief Medical Officer of the affected country.
