The annual appeal was broadcast on Friday night with schools from the area among those throughout the country raising millions to help children.

At Spilsby Primary Academy they had a Pudsey theme non-uniform day, raising £65 cash with other donations sent directly to the Children In Need JustGiving page

Headteacher Andrew Clarke said it had been a fun day. "The children either wore official t-shirts and ears or designed their own outfits.

"It was great to see them having fun with it. We try our best not to be beaten by Covid and do as many things as we can."
