Variety of jobs on offer at recruitment fair in Skegness

Job Centre Plus and East Lindsey District Council are hosting thethe fair at the Grosvenor House Hotel following the success of one held in Mablethorpe last month, which saw hundreds of job seekers and a variety of prospective employers in attendance.

Some of the area’s biggest employers will once again be in attendance at the Skegness event, making it an important opportunity for job seekers ahead of 2020 tourism season.

In addition to the full and part time, permanent and temporary jobs on offer, there will be recruitment and training advice, as well as information on apprenticeship and volunteering opportunities.

Attendees can get faster access by completing and bringing along a registration form, which can be found online at: www.e-lindsey.gov.uk/jobsfair.After a successful pilot at the Mablethorpe Jobs Fair, the Skegness event will include a ‘quiet hour’ between 1:30pm – 2:30pm, which is designed to help those who struggle with noise and crowds, such as individuals with autism.

The Council’s Portfolio Holder for Coastal Economy, Councillor Steve Kirk, said: “The recruitment fairs are a fantastic way for local employers to showcase their business and the opportunities they have on offer to prospective employees. I’m sure that our Skegness businesses will find the event invaluable as they look to fill some important positions ahead of the upcoming visitor season.”

The Skegness Jobs Fair takes place on Wednesday, February 19, at the Grosvenor House Hotel, North Parade, Skegness from 10:30am – 2:30pm.
