American musician Jeff Warner is Monday’s guest at Boston Folk Club, which meets upstairs at The Eagle pub on West Street in Boston.
Jeff grew up in Greenwich Village and accompanied his parents on trips, where they collected folk songs from rural singers and musicians.
A notable performer in his own right, Jeff has toured for Smithsonian Institution, he sings traditional American and English folk songs and is a multi-instrumentalist, playing banjo, guitar and several ‘pocket’ instruments, including bones and spoons.
Many of his songs transport Jeff’s 21st-century audiences on an enthralling journey through the rural history of the USA. Everyone is welcome to the night, which starts at 8.15pm.
