Pantomime season is upon us with Jack and the Beanstalk under way at Skegness’ Embassy Theatre.

The production, which includes West End talent among its cast, will then run at the Grand Parade venue until Monday, December 29.

But once that’s ‘behind you’, the theatre will start the New Year with the Janice Sutton Productions spectacular Enchanted.

Janice told The Standard: “It’s a superb magical New Year theatre treat. It will leave you spellbound.”

She added: “It’s a tale of evil versus good, travelling to an enchanted kingdom through a mystical wood.”

Janice said there would be some ‘Frozen’ surprises along the way - making reference to the hit Disney film of that name.

The show, which opens on New Year’s Day and runs until Sunday, January 4, features a talented cast of local singers and dancers in fabulous costumes.

Tickets are priced at £14.50, £13.50 for over 60s, or £10 for children. Family tickets are available at £44.

To book your tickets, go to the theatre’s website (www.embassytheatre.co.uk), call the box office on 0845 674 0505 or visit the ticket office during normal opening times.
