CHILDREN’S favourite ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ is set to take to the stage for a series of performances next week.
‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar & Other Favourites’ will run in the Embassy Theatre in Skegness on Monday, November 14 at 1pm and on Tuesday, November 15 at 10.30am and again at 1pm.
“Enjoy an hour watching your favourite storybooks come to life on stage,” said a spokesperson.
“The tales of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Little Cloud and The Mixed-up Chameleon by award-winning children’s book illustrator and writer Eric Carle, are beautifully retold in this glowing stage adaptation with puppetry.
“The Very Hungry Caterpillar follows the wonderful adventures of a very tiny and very hungry caterpillar.
“High up in the beautiful sky, Little Cloud slips away from the rest and transforms itself into various shapes of the things it sees.
“The Mixed-Up Chameleon is bored with its life - sitting about predictably changing colour all day. So it decides to embark on an adventurous trip to the zoo, wishing it could be more like the other animals,” they added.
Tickets cost £11 per person, but school groups will be able to purchase tickets in advance for just £8.50 per person (with accompanying teachers going free). Call 0845 674 0505 for more information.
