A production with music from multi-award winning composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and acclaimed songwriter Jim Steinman is coming to The Embassy Theatre, in Skegness.

Skegness Musical Theatre Company present Whistle Down The Wind, with shows tomorrow (Thursday, March 9), Friday, March 10, and Saturday, March 11, starting at 7.30pm.

Chloe Bray (14) is the youngest leading lady in the group’s history.

The story follows Swallow, a 15-year-old girl growing up in America during the 50s. Swallow finds a mysterious man in a barn who she vows to protect with the help of other children in the town.

Chloe said: “I’ve been in productions before but nothing of this scale, so it was a real shock, it’s been a great lesson so far learning from some of the really experienced members of the cast.”

A spokesman for the show said: “Andrew Lloyd Webber’s emotive score combines hauntingly beautiful love songs and explosive rock music with lyrics by acclaimed rock’n’roll songwriter Jim Steinman.”

Andrew Lloyd Webber has composed music for productions including The Phantom of the Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar and Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Tickets are priced at £16 for adults and £12.50 for concessions, available from: www.embassytheatre.co.uk
