The ‘Rumours’ are true ... a top Fleetwood Mac tribute show comes to Skegness this week, joined by a former member of the iconic band.

The critically acclaimed Rumours of Fleetwood Mac takes to the stage at the Embassy Theatre on Friday at 7.30pm.

The line-up boasts ex-Fleetwood Mac guitarist Rick Vito who is joining the show’s 2015/2016 world tour for 15 shows in October and November.

Rick first performed with Fleetwood Mac in 1987 and appeared on their Tango in the Night tour and 1990 Behind the Mask album.

“It’s going to be tremendous fun,” he said. “I met the guys last year and we hit it off straight away. They are all great musicians and they really manage to capture the live spirit of Fleetwood Mac.”

He added: “I can’t wait. If it goes well, I’ll aim to be back for more shows in 2016.”

The show has performed to in excess of a million fans since it launched more than a decade ago and has been endorsed by founder member of Fleetwood Mac Mick Fleetwood. The Mail on Sunday, meanwhile, said: “They do Fleetwood Mac better than Fleetwood Mac.”

Audience members can expect hits such as Black Magic Woman, Albatross, Go Your Own Way, Dreams, Say You Love Me, Sara, Oh Diane, Little Lies, and Everywhere.

Tickets are priced at £34/£24. Box office: 01507 613100.
