Acclaimed jazz singer and actress Claudia Morris is to take to the stage at Skegness’ Embassy Theatre in Secret Love, the heart-warming musical celebrating the life and career of Doris Day.

The show is timed to celebrate the 90th birthday of the Hollywood legend.

It encompasses the big band era, her Hollywood stardom, a TV comeback, domestic tragedy and her tireless campaigning for animal rights.

In an intimate evening of reminiscence, Claudia explores why she has been touched so deeply by the icon.

Expect plenty of laughs, a few tears and some surprises in this celebration of Day’s extraordinary music, movies and marriages.

Accompanied by a live band and actors portraying key characters in Day’s story, Claudia’s account of her idol’s journey is a heart-warming, toe-tapping show shedding fascinating new light on the stories behind such evergreen hits as ... ‘Whatever Will be, Will Be’, ‘Sentimental Journey’, ‘Its Magic’ and ‘Perhaps Perhaps.’

Claudia released her debut album ‘Love And Demons’ in 2009, followed by ‘Twelve O’Clock Tales’ in 2012.
