A MUSIC video, which was produced and recorded in Skegness, is now available to watch online on several sites.

The track, titled Leftfield Feet, was written and sung by Axil Kingsland, 17, of Huttoft who filmed the video with dancers in and around the town back in August.

Fans can watch the catchy video on YouTube and other sites such Facebook and Reverb Nation, which promotes local unsigned artists.

Eric Kingsland, Axil’s dad, said: “The track features a lot of good footage of Skegness and it is fantastic that is now online.”

As reported, Axil has been singing professionally in the local area for the last year and her sound is described as pop/rock.

She still hopes her new video which was shot in various places in town, will help attract a record label to sign her.

Her dad, Eric said that his daughter has been dancing since the age of three and that she has always wanted to be a dancer but a back problem meant she has had a harder challenge than most.

The track talks about teaching someone to dance who can’t and was put together by major Birmingham producers Born in a Barn Studios and Public Relations company, Rantprod.

The video features Axil with 10 dancers, one male and nine females strutting their stuff in major Skegness destinations such as the promenade, fun fair, the beach and outside the Hildreds shopping centre.

Axil said: “I’ve had around 1,006 hits already on YouTube in just over two weeks and since then I’ve had good feedback from a lot of parents who have said their children have enjoyed playing it.

“At the moment, I’m writing a new song which is completely different to the last track but I can’t say too much about it yet.”

Axil said she still has lots of ideas for the future and although a record deal would be nice, she says she is just happy making music people can enjoy and relate to.

Axil added: “Again I just want to say thanks to everyone involved and all the dancers.”
