The title of Charlie Landsborough’s latest album Here, There and Everywhere is an apt description of his life and musical career.
The veteran singer songwriter will be performing tracks from the album and is extensive back catalogue in concert at the Embassy Theatre, Skegness next month.
Charlie paid his musical dues playing for 23 years in the same pub before finally achieving overdue success in the 1990s.
The tour sees Charlie playing tracks from his latest album, a collection of Beatles’ songs, as well as favourites from the past .
The musical maestro is looking forward to the Skegness show. Charlie said: “We have been coming to the Embassy for a number of years. It is a lovely theatre and we usually get a good crowd there. I remember playing in a little country music club at Wrangle in days gone by.”
Charlie, who recently published his autobiography, is also well know for telling stories on stage. With a varied life spent in a series of odd jobs, serving in the army and teaching in his home town Birkenhead, Charlie is never short of a tale or two.
Charlie Landsborough is at The Embassy Theatre on Friday, October 17. Tickets £19.50, children £10. To book call 0845 674 0505 or visit www.embassytheatre.co.uk.
