TV show features on CBeebies

Melody, devised by Luke Howard who studied media at Boston College, has been moved into the primetime schedule on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Luke said: “It’s a great slot between 6-7pm, and will be sitting alongside some huge shows with much bigger budgets like In the Night Garden, Waybulu and Old Jack’s Boat. So it is a real compliment to the show and should also mean more people get to watch.”

The show is named after the central character – a partially-sighted girl with an incredible imagination played by Angharad Rhodes.

A recent episode of the show called Balloon Ride featured Luke’s sister Tilly Howard-Gettings and nine year-old-neice Daisy.

Melody is co-produced by Luke’s company LAAH Entertainment and Wish
Films who made The Tweenies.
