Spring has sprung at National Trust property Gunby Hall and Gardens.
From March 16 to April 22, the Gunby Orchard will be opened especially to share the annual display of spring flowers with their visitors.
What’s more, on Saturday 22 and Sunday March 23, entry is completely free as part of the Discover Lincolnshire Weekend.
“We love this time of year”, says House Manager, Astrid Gatenby, “you can watch the garden come to life and there is already a lot of colour about. The Gunby Orchard is normally not open to visitors, but in spring we enjoy giving our visitors access so that they can see the masses of colour. We hope many local people will visit us on 22 and March 23, when admission is completely free”.
On Saturday, the gardens, tea-room and basement are open and on Sunday, the hall, with its three floors to explore, will be open too. Gunby Hall is open from 11am to 5pm, with last admission at 4pm.
Gunby gardens, tea-room and basement is now open 7 days a week from 11am to 5pm.
The hall is open on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 11am to 5pm.
