Johnny Cash tribute comes to Skegness for one night

THE HITS of legendary musician Johnny Cash are set to belt out in Skegness this weekend when ‘The Johnny Cash Roadshow’ tribute rolls into town.

Featuring Clive John as the ‘Man In Black’ the show is described as the number one Johnny Cash experience.

“With his world class band, he delivers all the hits, including The Ring Of Fire, Boy Named Sue, Folsom Prison Blues, Man In Black, One Piece At A Time, Sunday Morning Coming Down, Hurt and many more from throughout Johnny Cash’s long career,” said a spokesperson.

“The show is high energy and entertaining for all to enjoy with a top quality video projection showing the life of Johnny Cash and the best June Carter in the business (Jill Schoonjans - who has appeared with Lee Memphis King - No1 Elvis Tribute, Joe Longthorne and more).

“This is SO much more than just a tribute to Johnny Cash, this is an audio and visual spectacle to entertain,” they added.

The show has been described in reviews elsewhere as a “brilliant, authentic performance as the Man in Black” and “the audience demanded a return booking”.

The show will take place on Sunday (July 10) at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £17.50 for adults, £16.50 for over 60s and £11 for children.
