The Skegness Big Lunch event will take place on Sunday, June 1, at the Embassy Swimming Pool from 10am to 4pm.
The Big Lunch is a simple idea taken from the Eden Project.
The aim is to get as many people as possible across the whole of the UK to have lunch with their neighbours annually on the first Sunday in June, in a simple act of community, friendship and fun.
The Skegness Big Lunch will be a family fun day with lots of games, activities and a bouncy castle; as well as access to the Embassy’s indoor and outdoor pools.
Organisers remind those taking part not to forget their swimming costumes.
There will also be a free picnic with every ticket purchased.
Since starting in 2009, thousands of Big Lunches have taken place in all types of community spaces across the UK.
Last year 3.65 million people took to their streets, gardens and community spaces for the fifth annual Big Lunch.
Tickets to the Skegness Big Lunch cost £3 and are available from the Skegness Halifax branch, Lumley Road.
