Northcote Heavy Horse centre are inviting the public to join them for some half term fun this Easter.
Voluntary Centre Manager, Terena Bolam said: “If you’re looking for a great, fun, family day out for your family this Easter break, why not pop along to the Northcote Heavy Horse Centre Near Spilsby?”
The visitor attraction is also a registered charity for heavy horses and their smaller breeds and staff will be happy to meet you and show you their beautiful horses.
“Visitors can meet horses such as Rosie, a rare breed Suffolk Punch and all her big friends, then children can meet the Shetland ponies, listen to talks on the various breeds and then take part in grooming and harnessing the horses ready for work,” said Terena.
New for April are two new horses, Tiko and Pluto the Lipizzaner.
Visitors can also enjoy lunch in the centre’s tea room.
The centre is now open and this includes Easter opening, tomorrow, (Thursday, April, 10) to Friday, April, 11.
The centre will then open from Monday, April, 14 through to Friday, April 18.
Thereafter, every Wednesday until the end of September.
