An exhibition celebrating seasonal change and the promise of spring will be on show in Skegness next month.
Canadian born artist John Lincoln’s collection, interpreting the beauty and diversity of trees, will be appearing at the Embassy Theatre from February 23 to March 23.
The former aircraft technician, graphic artist and illustrator, now retired, has returned to his love of the English countryside for this exhibition.
He said: “The paintings displayed here represent some of my responses to and my interpretation of trees and their potential as symbols of life and human experience as well as their majesty, complexity, texture and colour.”
One of his featured works, ‘Where the Sea Meets the Sky’ has been inspired by the Lincolnshire coast, which John says he is particularly pleased to be showcasing in Skegness.
