The audience had the Dickens of a time at St Pauls Baptist church recently when East Lincolnshire Arts welcomed the Badapple Theatre company.
Part of the Rural Touring Scheme, they presented ‘Farmer Scrooge’, a modern day portrayal set in Yorkshire in the 1950s.
The two actors stepped into a variety of roles as well as using puppets to tell this Dickens Christmas classic.
Music and song, an innovative set and effective sound all added to the atmosphere.
